Kane recently talked with Gary Spears from New York’s KISS-FM discussing WrestleMania, The Undertaker and the success of Team Hell No.
When asked about the continued popularity of the team, Kane said he was surprised it worked initially. “Maybe that’s why it worked so well”, Kane noted, “because it was such a contrast from what Kane has done in the past. Despite the fact that I’m dealing with Daniel Bryan all the time, which is an enormous pain, I’ve actually had a really good time and a lot of fun doing that angle because it has been something different. It gives me some versatility and being able to show a side of Kane that people haven’t seen before makes the character a lot more well rounded. You’re not just a monster, you’re a monster who can crack jokes.”
Kane also mentioned the return of The Undertaker at WrestleMania, stating he wasn’t suprised to see the icon involved with the show. “If you’re going to be on the show, this is the show to be on, right? And of course, he’s a guy who really loves the business and loves to be out there.”
