WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross took to his blog this week to discuss some of the happenings on the most recent episode of “Monday Night Raw.” Below are some of the highlights.
On the heel turn from Goldust and Stardust:
“Interested in the Rhodes boys antagonistic turn on Monday Night RAW. I think it helps the tag team scene that is still a work in progress. Dusty’s boys are unique to say the least and I like their potential contributions as both have somewhat been underutilized.”
Ross gave his thoughts on the seemingly-underwhelming Bella Twin segment his colleague Jerry “The King” Lawler was involved in:
“Thought the Bella’s segment on RAW was what is was, a good opportunity for both, nonetheless, but it was missing Stephanie McMahon’s presence in my view. Steph has been a major contributor to this story line.”
J.R. also showed a sense of optimism in Rusev’s beating of Jack Swagger, noting some good could come out of it for all parties:
“When those talking about the Jack Swagger-Rusev rivalry, it seems as if the goal is to enhance the persona of Rusev at the end of the day but Swagger can maximize his minutes and help his own cause. Baby faces that get over never go down without fighting their heart out, selling with their head up and never quitting on the fans. Simple but true philosophy.”
Ross also discussed his podcast, an upcoming Brock Lesnar/Paul Heyman piece and more. The rest can be found at his official blog here.
Editor’s Note
That has to be the most praise I’ve seen thus far on the Bella Twins segment, that’s for sure.
