WWE Superstar Goldust has been largely absent on WWE television since WrestleMania, where he appeared in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. As noted late last month, he had underwent an MRI to see if he had a medical emergency, the extent of which was unknown at the time.
The former Intercontinental Champion has since updated his status to the WWE Universe, and it isn’t good. He took to Twitter to announce the following:

He made it a point of emphasis to say in the tweet he is not ready to retire, despite what many rumors had claimed would be occurring following WrestleMania. At one point, he had been scheduled to feud with his brother Stardust into the big event, but plans for an extended feud were scrapped after their match at “Fastlane” did not go over as well as hoped for.
There had at one point been plans for him to get involved in the Intercontinental Championship picture once more as well, but these did not come to fruition either.
The 46-year-old returned to WWE in Fall of 2013 to help his brother Cody from dismay at the hands of The Authority, and has had a promising run since.
Editor’s Note
Sad to hear, but hopefully he gets one more program to do him justice on his way out.
