Former WWE Diva Victoria’s Husband Takes Down Restaurant Intruder Who Had a Gun

Lisa Marie Varon, formerly known as Victoria in WWE and Tara in TNA, had a scary encounter this past weekend. And her real-life husband is being heralded as a hero for stepping in to save the day.

Varon runs the Chicago-based “The Squared Circle” pizza joint, a popular hot spot among locals and wrestlers alike. This weekend though, an 18-year-old man was caught in the restaurant causing trouble in the women’s bathroom. Her husband Lee, who is the manager of the restaurant, went to confront the man.

The intruder attempted to then force his way into the kitchen, which is when Lee sprung into action. Much like his wife would have several years ago, he tackled the man down to the ground. After he was tackled, Lee and several cooks noticed the man had a gun, which was quickly taken away.

Varon gave the following quote to TMZ:

“He (my husband) used to be a bouncer when he was a young lad,” Victoria says of her hubby … “I think that guy crossed the wrong person.”

Video of the incident can be found below. The man was charged with a felony count of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon.
