While it was recently revealed former WWE and World Heavyweight Champion Batista is currently under contract with WWE, he is not expected to be returning to the company any time soon.

After starring in the acclaimed-hit “Guardians of the Galaxy,” Batista picked up several other major movie roles. He was named to the case of the upcoming James Bond film “SPECTRE,” where he will play a main villain named Mr. Hinx.

In a preview clip below, the former champion spoke about the film for the first time.

Speaking on the current filming location in the mountains of Austria, he had the following:

“It’s very surreal. It looks like a painting. Especially for a guy like me, I’m from the inner-city, I grew up in the inner-city. It’s my first time ever on a mountain.”

It is unknown if and when he will be returning to WWE, but if he does, he may be in line for a match and feud with Triple H.

Editor’s Note

Excited to see him in this role. He will own it.
