The ever-mysterious Finn Bálor has wowed the WWE and NXT Universes with his jaw-dropping maneuvers in the ring, alongside his eccentric presentation while getting there. Bálor, who is known for his bizarre and elaborate body paintings for big matches, took to Twitter to tease another new look.

Judging by the photo, it appears he will debut a new creature-esque body painting. The question then becomes, when will it drop?

Bálor had been penned to participate in a triple-threat match to determine the No. 1 contender for the NXT Championship at the upcoming “NXT TakeOver: Unstoppable” special event on the WWE Network May 20. He had been scheduled to take on Hideo Itami and Tyler Breeze, but it appears some degree of change will be made to the match. As noted on Wrestling Rumors, Itami will be out of action for several months with a shoulder injury, meaning the match may now just be between Breeze and Bálor.

It should also be noted, NXT will be making its live event debut in Philadelphia this week. It is possible, given the rabid wrestling fan base in the area, the paint could be for that crowd.

Editor’s Note

Whatever it is, it will be awesome.
