NXT Superstar Fergal Devitt has made quite the media splash since landing with WWE. The indy-darling has expressed in the past his excitement to be in WWE, and recently spoke with WWE.com about how the transition has gone thus far.
Devitt first touched on how he’s made the transition into the WWE Performance Center and America:
“I’m settling in pretty well so far. Looking forward to actually getting in the ring, and I hope to be debuting soon on ‘NXT.’ Everyone so far has been brilliant, especially the coaches and all of the boys as well have been helping me settle in well and get acclimatized to not only WWE and NXT, but also the country as well. It’s a big step for me moving from originally Ireland, and then Japan, and here now in America. So I’m very happy to be here and I’m looking forward to the challenge that awaits over the next couple of months.”
He was then asked about how it has been observing the NXT live events and tapings since signing:
“I’ve been blown away by the amount of talent on board at the shows and the live attendance as well have been great. I think it was Fort Pierce, the last show I was at, there was at least 500 people there and especially the tapings at Full Sail were really spectacular, the amount of setup and production that went into it. My buddy Sami Zayn was there performing as well, so it was good to see him live again.”
WWE confirmed in July the world-renowned superstar had signed with the company in July, and he would be assigned to Orlando immediately.

Very excited to see what Devitt will bring to the table. With his thick accent though, it will be interesting to see how much microphone time he gets early on. Hopefully, they don’t let that get in the way.
