WWE Superstar Triple H made his long-awaited return tonight, defending WWE CEO Vince McMahon from an assault by Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman. The former opponents brawled around ringside, with Lesnar being busted open after being thrown off a ring post. Cameras were intentionally shifting their focus off Brock, as the blood was flowing down from the top of his head to his chest. Triple H got the best of the fight, hitting Lesnar with a huge spinebuster and a steel chair shot to the back.
The 13-time WWE World Champion was defeated by Lesnar at the 2012 SummerSlam pay-per-view, in a match where Lesnar – in story – broke Triple H’s arm. The two are expected to collide this April at WrestleMania 29.
