During the “NXT” tapings on Sept. 10, it was announced that Bayley will defend her NXT Women’s Championship in the main event of “NXT Takeover” on Oct. 7 against “The Boss” Sasha Banks. This will be a rematch of their title bout at “NXT Takeover: Brooklyn” last month – considered to be one of the greatest women’s matches of all time.
In another first, this contest will be a 30-minute Ironwoman match. The competitor with the most decisions in the allotted time will walk away with the gold.

The last match of the sort was in 2009 when John Cena and Randy Orton fought in an Ironman match at “Bragging Rights,” with Cena emerging victorious with a score of 6-5.
Also confirmed for the show is the finals of the NXT Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, with the participants yet to be determined.
Editor’s Note:
There is only one match announced for this event, and I already cannot wait for October 7. If this match is half as good as the first, we are going to see something special. But don’t be surprised if this one tops the first encounter.
