With all the speculation regarding Matt and Jeff Hardy making their WWE debut this week, there was one very important loose end–the Ring of Honor Tag Team Championship.
Not to denigrate Ring of Honor’s talent, but for most wrestling fans, the big question was whether tonight’s Supercard of Honor would see the Hardys lose that title, making the chances of their signing with another company far greater.
The Young Bucks defeated the Hardys in a ladder match to regain the Ring of Honor Tag Team Championship. Matt put over the Bucks of Youth big time as the best team they’ve ever faced.
Multiple sources are reporting that the Hardys will be hitting WWE very soon, perhaps as soon as the next three nights. With the ROH titles out of their possession, that makes these reports seem all the more real.
Oh, and congratulations to the Young Bucks.
