TNA is going through some major changes this week, not the least of which is the loss of some of its biggest stars. On top of that–or perhaps part of the cause–is the backstage restructuring of the company, which is seeing some new faces in creative control.
According to PWInsider, Dutch Mantel–known to WWE fans as Zeb Colter–is now the head of creative for the company. This is reportedly info from an email sent out to the roster this week.
John Gaburick, who previously held a pivotal role in creative, will remain with the company, but will not be involved in booking beyond offering feedback to the creative team.
Above all of that, Jeff Jarrett will oversee the team as Chief Creative Officer. The report suggests that he won’t be appearing on-screen anytime soon, however.
Three of TNA’s biggest on-screen talents are out of the company, so the new team will have their work cut out for them in producing a show that catches on.
Drew Galloway parted ways with them earlier this week, and the Hardys’ coming departure has been a massive story since yesterday.
