It’s SmackDown Live’s final show before WrestleMania, and most of the blue brand’s titles are on the line. We’re promised a “new” Elimination Chamber, and we expect the titular six-man title match to be a great one.
On top of that, WWE’s hottest young tag team tries to ride their momentum to the top of the card, three major feuds prove the blue brand’s women’s division isn’t getting left behind, Ziggler continues trying to convince the world he’s really a bad guy, and former Wyatt brothers settle things inside the ring.
Man, Dolph Ziggler just can’t catch a break. After a series of incredible matches with the Miz over the Intercontinental Championship, he eventually became the feud’s lesser man—and has been losing ever since. One loss too many set him over the edge into steel chair heel tactics, but it seems he still can’t win a match. The odds weren’t looking better when he was set to go one-on-two against frequent rivals Kalisto and Apollo Crews. How did the match end up?
Ziggler took out Kalisto during his entrance in an attempt to even the odds and take on Apollo one-on-one. But Kalisto limped his way back into the ring, backed up his partner, and ensured a victory for the two men against Ziggler. Naturally, Ziggler snapped (again) after the match and assaulted both his opponents.
