It’s SmackDown Live’s final show before WrestleMania, and most of the blue brand’s titles are on the line. We’re promised a “new” Elimination Chamber, and we expect the titular six-man title match to be a great one.
On top of that, WWE’s hottest young tag team tries to ride their momentum to the top of the card, three major feuds prove the blue brand’s women’s division isn’t getting left behind, Ziggler continues trying to convince the world he’s really a bad guy, and former Wyatt brothers settle things inside the ring.
Nikki Bella and Natalya have been two of the longest-lasting on the women’s side of WWE’s roster, and their feud has been going on for a surprisingly long time. The seeds were planted at Survivor Series, where a mysterious assailant left Nikki unable to compete—and, of course, that attacker turned out to be Natalya. Who ended up victorious after a months-long verbal battle?
As JBL called after the match, “absolutely nothing got settled.” It was a solid match with some great brawling, but it ultimately ended with a double count-out. Nikki did land a sick spear on Nattie after the match, though.
