PWInsider.com has provided an update on Ric Flair’s health. According to the report, Flair is set to finally be released from the hospital on Sept. 19 after spending more than seven days in the facility.
As previously reported, Flair underwent multiple procedures during the week of Sept. 12. WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross claims that Flair had appendicitis and underwent an appendectomy, as well as surgery on a hernia.
WWE.com revealed that Flair’s surgeries were performed successfully and that he would be appearing for the company again soon. While not going into detail about what procedures Flair had gone through, they provided an update on his health when confirming that he would not be appearing during the Sept. 16 “Smackdown” tapings. Flair was not officially promoted for “NXT TakeOver: Fatal 4 Way” on Sept. 12 or “Night Of Champions” on Sept. 21, but sources from within WWE claim he was to make appearances during both events prior to having surgery.
Flair is expected to return to WWE programming very soon, though he will not be appearing on “Night Of Champions” as previously planned. WrestlingRumors.net continues to wish the two-time WWE Hall of Famer the speediest of recoveries.
