Former WWE Champion and current WWE COO Triple H held a conference call from the WWE Performance Center on Feb. 26. During the conversation, Triple H discusses Feb. 27’s live “WWE NXT Arrival” program, the WWE Network, Hulk Hogan, and more. Some of the highlights however were comments that Triple H made about himself and Vince McMahon and their thoughts on the developmental program, NXT, as well as Triple H’s words about WWE superstar Cesaro.
When discussing how proud he is of the WWE Performance Center and NXT, Triple H brought up Cesaro because he will face Sami Zayn during the live “NXT Arrival” show on Thursday, which will be available on the WWE Network. When talking about Cesaro, “The Game” mentioned his past matches with Zayn and how great they were. He then says that he believes Cesaro will “explode” over the next few years, in regards to his success in the ring and with the fans.
Triple H then hyped “NXT Arrival” as the promotion’s “WrestleMania” and that he and McMahon are extremely happy with how the developmental system is working. He claims that the talent is ready to blow everyone away on Feb. 27, and that they are excited to be showing this event live on the WWE Network.
“The Game” also claimed to know who the next big stars to come out of NXT are going to be, but that he wants to keep it a surprise for the fans. “I like to have more fun that way,” he said.
When Triple H began talking about other stars that have come out of NXT and are making waves on the main roster, he brought up The Shield vs. The Wyatt Family’s five-star match at “Elimination Chamber.” He claims that he felt like a “giddy dad” watching the match and that both he said McMahon could only say, “wow,” with smiles on their faces at the end of it.
