Traditional Money in the Bank Ladder Match contestants will be announced on “Monday Night Raw.” While the match was announced during the June 17 edition of WWE “Main Event,” only Seth Rollins has been currently promoted for the match. The remaining superstars will be announced during the June 23 edition of “Monday Night Raw.”
The announcement was made during the June 17 “Smackdown” tapings. The company ran a graphic in front of the crowd in Columbus, Ohio that claimed the remaining superstars competing in the Traditional Money in the Bank Ladder Match will be announced on June 23.
Following Daniel Bryan’s injury and decline in health since surgery, WWE has had to move the company forward with “Plan B,” which consists of two Ladder Matches taking place at “Money In The Bank” on June 29. One Ladder Match will decide who will be crowned the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion, while the other will award the victor with a briefcase containing a contract for a WWE World Heavyweight Championship match. The winner of the Money in the Bank briefcase has one year from retrieval to “cash-in” and receive his title shot.
Those rumored to be featured in this Traditional Money in the Bank Ladder Match include,
* Big E
* Bo Dallas
* Dean Ambrose
* Jack Swagger
*Bad News Barrett
* Rob Van Dam
While the card is always subject to change, the majority of those listed below will be featured in the Traditional Money in the Bank Ladder Match on June 29, with Rollins and Ambrose being the heavy favorites to win the briefcase.
Editor’s Note:
I tried to tell everyone there’d be two Ladder Matches. Even though I originally was trolling the Rumors’ faithful when I said Bo Dallas would be great with a briefcase…I kinda mean it now. Would do great things for his push, for sure. Would you hate him more? Yep. #8andBo
