Former WWE and WCW World Heavyweight Champion Sycho Sid joins Sting in teasing something for “7-14-14” on Twitter. On July 8, both former WCW champions changed their Twitter profile images to darkened versions of their face, as well as sent out tweets that simply read “7-14-14.”

Sting’s tweets were the first seen, and caused the biggest uproar amongst wrestling fans. Many are assuming that the tweets have something to do with WWE, possibly WWE 2K15, and are excited about the possibility of Sting working with the company in any capacity.
Sid’s tweet went more unnoticed due to Sting’s teasery, but was notable to say the least. A WCW themed mode is rumored to be featured in WWE 2K15, and with both men doing this on the same day, many are wondering if these tweets play up to the rumor. Both Sid and Sting worked with each other over the span of 10-12 years in World Championship Wrestling, with Sid making the move back-and-forth between WWE and WCW.
It should be noted that Sid changed his image and posted the “7-14-14” tweet two hours following Sting and may just be trolling Twitter fans for attention. The image that Sid updated to appear as if He and Sting are part of the same reveal on July 14 is extremely pixelated, where Sting’s is extremely HD. Either way, more will be known on Monday, July 14.
Not to mention, many people are skeptical about whether or not this Twitter account is ACTUALLY run by Sid Eudy. Former WWE superstar Matt Hardy once said that Eudy had told him that he didn’t have a Twitter account.

Editor’s Note:
I dunno if I’m buying Sid’s tweet being more than a troll attempt by Mr. Eudy. That picture is super awful. However, he could just have had no idea how to make it not look awful. We’ll find out Monday.
