The latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter claims that “Smackdown” will air live on the USA Network during “WWE Week” in December. The episode will be broadcast live on the network from Grand Rapids, Michigan on Dec. 16.
USA’s annual “WWE Week” will begin on Dec. 15. The network’s “Daytime” talk show, which airs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. ET, will feature WWE superstars as guests. Talents such as The Miz, Big Show, Titus O’Neil, Brie Bella, and Stephanie McMahon will appear on the program. “Monday Night Raw,” which will be the first edition of the show following WWE “TLC” and the kick-off towards the 2015 “Royal Rumble” PPV, will broadcast live from Detroit on Dec. 15.
WWE “Main Event” is expected to air live on the WWE Network on Dec. 16, meaning it will air at 7 p.m. ET. The USA Network will also air the entire edition of WWE’s “Tribute to the Troops,” program, which will be recorded on Dec. 9 in Columbus, Georgia. This will air on Wednesday, Dec. 17 from 8-10 p.m. ET. A one hour edited edition of the program will air on NBC just 10 days later.
Editor’s Note:
That’ll be nice, having a live “Smackdown” again. Perhaps this will lead people to watching it that week.
