Rob Van Dam’s WWE contract may expire October 1st. Several conflicting reports have been made recently concerning Van Dam’s current WWE deal, but it seems as if many of them were wrong.

The Wrestling Observer is reporting that RVD’s contract will expire on October 1st and that is why “Mr. Monday Night” could be taking time off in October. Other reports stated that Van Dam would be working 90 days on, then 90 days off until WrestleMania with his current deal.

Whatever the case may be, Van Dam is said to have been buried on the September 23rd edition of RAW because he has yet to sign a contract extension with the company. Reports state that the company has been very pleased with Van Dam’s in-ring work and reception since his return and would like to keep him around for a long time if he so inclines.
