It was announced Sunday night at WWE Payback that former WWE and ECW Champion Rob Van Dam would be returning to the WWE in July at the Money In The Bank PPV. Rumors of Van Dam’s return have been circulating the internet for months, with teases about a WWE comeback emanating from Van Dam himself. Just one night after the announcement was made, Van Dam took to Twitter to begin commenting on all of the hype surrounding his return.
“RVD” had been trending on Twitter (and still is as of Tuesday afternoon) since the video promotion for his returned aired Sunday night. Van Dam responds…

It seems as if Van Dam is just as excited about his upcoming return as the WWE Universe looks to be. “Mr. Pay-Per-View” will re-debut in the WWE on July 14th in Philadelphia, PA at Money In The Bank, which will air LIVE on PPV beginning at 8pm.
