A new report from PWInsider.com claims two-time WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair has passed all of his medical exams and will return to being an on-air talent for WWE programming once again. As previously reported, Flair is expected to be used on WWE television very soon, and the possibilities of positions for him are endless.
Some believe that Flair will return as a manager. Flair himself has stated that he would love to manage Dolph Ziggler, while WWE would like for Flair to be with The Miz. There has also been discussions about using Flair during NXT programming and having him be the manager for his daughter Charlotte, much like he has in the past.
Other reports claim that Flair wants to return as a heel manager, even though WWE executives believe that this will not work with the amount of love Flair draws from the WWE Universe. This is said to be the reason why The Nature Boy gave his vote of confidence to The Shield prior to Evolution and The Shield facing off against each other at “Extreme Rules.”
The Shield, now consisting of only Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose, could be a spot for Flair during this feud with Evolution. However, many believe that Flair could be returning to WWE TV as the new General Manager of “Monday Night Raw.”
While we don’t know where Flair will be placed upon his return, we do know he has been cleared medically to begin traveling with the company again and is expected to begin very soon.
Editor’s Note:
I can always appreciate some Flair. Let’s get ready to “WOOOO!”
