In a recent interview with Press & Guide, wrestling superstar Rhyno says he wants to wrestle another 10 years and loves his current WWE deal, which isn’t really a contract at all. As previously reported, Rhyno has returned to WWE as an NXT superstar, but he says he’s not under contract with the company.

Rhyno goes on to explain his declaration,

“It’s a great deal. I’m not under contract, so I can still do local shows when we’re not filming. I’d like to go at least another 10 years. I’ve been blessed to stay healthy and in shape. I don’t want to quit just yet.”

He also talks about his initial WWE tryouts back in the late ’90s when he friends Edge and Christian were signed to the company, saying,

“I came back [from Germany] in 1997 and got a tryout with the WWF. It couldn’t have gone worse. Christian was at the same camp. He got hired and one other guy, the rest of us didn’t. It was a little discouraging. In life we all have failures and setbacks. I was already scheduled to go back to Germany [for another promotion], it was a blessing in disguise.”

Rhyno says the fans are what keeps him going, but claims getting to wrestle at WWE Tribute to the Troops in 2003 was one of the biggest and most rewarding experiences of his life, saying,

“This is the biggest achievement of my wrestling career. It was by far the second greatest experience of my life after the birth of my daughter. They would send guys individually over there, but this was the first time we did a show.

It’s an honor to perform for them. Going over there and seeing behind the scenes of what they go through, it’s life changing. I could win the world title, or main event Wrestlemania, but nothing will compare to meeting the troops.”
