NXT star Bronson, real name Phil Friedman, suffered a severe spinal injury in October of 2012. This is of course what has kept the big man to be off of NXT programming since the fall. Bronson has been tweeting updates on his conditions, and has recently stated that after a successful surgery, he is now recovering quite well.
I want to publicly thank Dr. Joseph Maroon for fixing a very dangerous spinal injury I’ve had which has gotten steadily worse…

…since October. 3 days ago I couldn’t walk, now I can walk without pain. Thank you to my friends and family who have supported me…

Through a very dark time. You have my eternal gratitude, love, respect and loyalty. I am grateful for you all, that’s it.

Bronson hopes to be back in action as soon as he is completely healthy and WrestlingRumors.com continues to wish him a speedy recovery.
