The June 16 edition of “Monday Night Raw” saw its viewership numbers stay strong for the third straight week, nearly matching the numbers from June 9 and June 2. F4Wonline.com claims that the episode saw 4.13 million viewers, which is actually up from 4.12 million the program saw on June 9.
According to TVbyTheNumbers, “Monday Night Raw” was the third most-watched program on cable Monday. The U.S. World Cup soccer game was the most-watched cable show, bringing in 9.72 million viewers, followed by vH1’s “Love and Hip-Hop,” which saw 3.89 million.
Even without a current WWE World Heavyweight Champion, “Monday Night Raw” is gaining viewers and maintaining them throughout the program. The first hour of the show saw 3.93 million viewers, while the second hour pulled 4.2 million. The final hour of the show saw 4.25 million viewers for a main event Stretcher Match between John Cena and Kane to see who would be entered into the WWE World Heavyweight Championship Ladder Match at “Money In The Bank.”
Editor’s Note:
I enjoyed “RAW” last on Monday night and thought the first hour and various segments throughout the rest of the night were very strong. Some weaker, but not bad segments in the second hour, but overall a great show. Main event = bland, but Reigns/Rusev finishing out the Battle Royal was a “RAW Moment” that will live on.
