WWE flagship program “Monday Night Raw” sees a big increase in viewers this week. Many say that having the Slammy Awards ceremony helped the program, as well as the episode being the WWE TLC “go-home” edition of the show. Either way, World Wrestling Entertainment has to be overjoyed with the numbers that they received for the December 9th edition of “Monday Night Raw.”

PWinsider.com is reporting that Monday’s episode of “RAW” averaged 4.159 million viewers, which is a whopping 17.5% increase from the previous week’s 3.541 million. The December 9th edition of the program, which boasted many former WWE and World Heavyweight Champions as Slammy Award presenters saw 4.218 million viewers the first hour, 4.177 million in the second hour, and 4.082 million viewers during the final hour.

General reaction from internet fans regarding the episode was that it was a really good edition of “Monday Night Raw,” which explains why the program was able to hold 4 million-plus during the entire three hours, which has been an obstacle for the WWE as of late.
