Former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio was injured during “Monday Night Raw” on December 9th. Del Rio reportedly suffered a concussion during his match with Sin Cara and will be undergoing further testing throughout the next couple of days.

WWE.com is reporting that Del Rio suffered the concussion as “a result of a top-rope sunset flip powerbomb.” Dr. Chris Amann diagnosed Del Rio with the concussion and will be administering an ImPACT test on Tuesday, December 10th to estimate how long Del Rio will need to be out of the ring to recover.

WrestlingRumors.net will keep you updated on Del Rio’s status.
