According to the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, former World Heavyweight Champion Mark Henry is slimming down for his return to WWE, whenever that may be. Henry hasn’t been featured on WWE programming since the night following the “Survivor Series” PPV in November of 2014.
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter commented on Henry’s recent weight loss, saying,
Not sure when he’s coming back, but Henry has lost a ton of weight since the last time he was on TV. In the past, he’s talked about losing weight, but then would get unhappy when he’d lose weight because his strength would go down and he’s got that strongest man in the world mentality.
Henry was a part of Team Authority during the main event of “Survivor Series,” being the first eliminated. Big Show drilled him with the Knock Out punch. Henry then faced Ryback the following night on “RAW,” and hasn’t been seen since. He recently appeared at a SiriusXM event however, sporting a much slimmer frame, which is featured in the image below. Henry has reportedly been recuperating from a nagging injury and should return after WrestleMania 31.
Editor’s Note:
Henry’s looking great. He’s always a great hand to have on the roster, and this should allow him to move around more efficiently in the ring.
