During Sunday night’s Payback PPV, multiple wrestlers (inactive and active talent alike) were on Twitter commenting on their careers and what was happening throughout the event. One of these performers was Mark Henry, who took to the social media network to tease a retirement announcement may be coming soon.
Near the beginning of the show, the WWE ran a promo regarding the return of Mark Henry on June 17th’s Monday Night Raw. Afterwards, Henry sent out these tweets…
Whether you loved or hated me in my career.I was all ways there for you.i appreciate u all. Good or bad I will live forever with u the fans.

Henry has been the subject of some backstage heat since he left active competition after WWE Extreme Rules. He reportedly was taking time off to heal from a nagging shoulder injury, but other WWE talents and officials felt that he could have worked through it. After Henry addressed this heat on Twitter a little over a week ago, promo vignette promoting his return began to air on television. Will Henry return only to retire Monday night? Tune into RAW to find out!
