F4Wonline.com has provided a major update on Brock Lesnar’s current contract with WWE. As previously reported, Lesnar has a contract that is set to pay him a certain amount of money until it expires in 2015. However, where originally he was scheduled months in advance with only a select number of dates set aside for him to appear on “Monday Night Raw” and on Pay-Per-View, WWE has now now flipped the script a bit.
With Lesnar being WWE World Heavyweight Champion, it is being reported that a new agreement has been reached between the two parties. This agreement, which will see Lesnar still get paid the full amount promised per-show, allows WWE to book the current champion based on when they feel like they need to use him.
This means Lesnar can appear on any episode of “Monday Night Raw,” “Smackdown,” or at any Pay-Per-View leading up to his contract expiring. It has been rumored that Lesnar is expected to remain WWE World Heavyweight Champion until WrestleMania 31 in March of 2015. With this new deal between parties, Lesnar could essentially be booked to compete on every WWE PPV leading up to WrestleMania 31 in Santa Clara, something that no one expected to happen prior to this agreement.
The agreement calls for an increase dates on a pro-rate basis, meaning WWE would have to agree to pay Lesnar whatever he asks for his appearances, but apparently both parties have signed off and are moving forward with this new deal in place.
Editor’s Note:
Can I make my prediction that Lesnar conquers Cena again at “Night of Champions” now then?
