A new piece from CinemaBlend.com claims that WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan may be the villain in “The Expendables 4” if the movie goes into production. According to the article, the film may never see the light of day due to the low drawing numbers the third-installment in the “Expendables” film franchise earned, but the planning stages for the movie have begun.
Hogan himself said that he’s being considered by the movie’s father (writer, producer, director) Sylvester Stallone for a villainous part, if the movie indeed does go into production. He made this announcement during a “Q&A” session emanating from the 2015 Body Power Expo.
Hogan said,
“We’re trying to figure out a way to maybe turn me into the most evil man in the world. Y’know, Stallone gave me my first break (as Thunder Lips in “Rocky III”) and he’s been a great friend.
We had a great conversation, talking about the possibilities. Can I still run, can I still jump? Well, not as fast or not as high, but I think Hollywood could find a good stunt man to help me out.”
The Immortal One hasn’t done much film in recent years, and would love to get back into that side of the entertainment business. His “Hulkamania” gimmick can now be seen on a weekly basis on WWE programming, as Curtis Axel, or “AxelMania,” is emulating all of Hogan’s wrestling mannerisms, attire, EVERYTHING.
You can see the entire “Q&A” session here.
Editor’s Note:
I mean…Thunder in Paradise Hogan…combined with “3 Ninjas” villain Hogan? I just wanna know what that looks like.
