Honky Tonk Man Joins Sid and Sting in Teasing “7.14.14”

Former Intercontinental Champion the Honky Tonk Man recently joined the likes of Sting and possibly Sid, if that is his Twitter account, in teasing “7.14.14” on Twitter. Sting, Sid, and HTM all three tweeted the cryptic “7.14.14” message on July 8, and could possibly be teasing an upcoming roster reveal by the 2K Sports crew in regards to “WWE 2K15.” 

Sting has been rumored for some time as someone that will be a character in the upcoming “WWE 2K15” video game. WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross confirmed that Sting would be a character in the game while on an edition of “The Steve Austin Show.” Ross was talking about having Sting appear on his podcast, “The Ross Report,” soon and said,

“I’m looking forward to talking to him because people are going to want to know, ‘are you coming to WWE?’ ‘What about The Undertaker match?’ He’s in the big 2K video game, Sting is. So that’s a big deal.”

While Sid tweeting out the same thing as Sting and Honky Tonk may mean nothing if that is not Sid’s actual Twitter account, it may mean that he and HTM are also going to be revealed as characters in the game on July 14 as well.

Ross retweeted the Honky Tonk Man’s “7.14.14” post, further teasing the “I know something you don’t know” tone of the situation. While he only worked in the company for a year, Honky Tonk Man worked in WCW just like Sid and Sting did. This could be a connection between the three and these tweets, but nothing is known for sure at the moment.
