F4Wonline.com is reporting what happened when RAW went off the air in St. Louis on Monday, October 14th. Once Triple H and the Rhodes brothers had left the stage area, a dark main event between Randy Orton and Daniel Bryan took place.
Prowrestling.net provides further details, claiming that during the match, Orton grabbed a mic and said, “Hey, St. Louis. Do you wanna see an RKO?” The crowd replied with a chorus of “YES!” chants, to which Orton responded with, “I did say you weren’t that bright…No!”
Bryan reversed the RKO, hit the running knee, and pinned Orton. He then grabs the mic and says, “Now hold on…I think you guys are a little mixed up. Do you guys want to see an RKO?” The crowd chants, “YES!” Bryan then says,”Lets practice ‘No!'”
Orton then asks a referee, “Do you want to see an RKO? What do you think?” The ref thought about it and then replied, “Yes!”
Bryan asked the crowd if they thought the ref could do better. He asked the ref to give him three strong “Yes!” chants with hand motions, and on the third “YES!” from the ref, Bryan delivers an RKO to him.
He then picks the mic back up and says, “St. Louis, I just want to apologize for the worst RKO in history! Thanks for coming out tonight!”
