Damien Sandow claims a change in his WWE status is coming soon. Sandow, who has been used primarily as a comedic relief character since he end of 2013, recently revealed during his “Sandow’s 60” WWE App segment that he has an ace up his sleeve, and will not be used in this position as a mid-card joker much longer.
Using a deck of cards, Sandow explained the structure of WWE, claiming there are kings, queens, jacks and jackasses, and there is the joker. He points out that the joker represents the jester, or the character that is there to simply entertain you. He notes the the image of the joker is also positioned in the middle of the card (acknowledging that he is stuck in the mid-card at the moment and only allowed to play a comedy role).
He then pulls an ace from under his sleeve, and hints at something coming soon that will change his position in the company. Many believe that Sandow was primed to win the World Heavyweight Championship in 2013 before the company decided to merge the World Heavyweight and WWE Championships into one title again. Once that decision was made, Sandow, who held the World Heavyweight Championship Money in the Bank briefcase, was forced to cash-in on John Cena and lose.
Sandow would be thrust into a comedic role since that time, but many believe he would rise to upper-mid-card/main event status again sometime down the road. Sandow continued to tease that his time would be coming soon on Twitter, saying,
Watch and pay attention to this weeks #Sandow60 . Mark my words , I meant what I said. Patience is a virtue. You will never see it coming.

Will Sandow return to championship matches in the near future? Only time will tell. Until then, he’ll likely continue entertaining the WWE Universe as Mizdow, Michael Samdow, or whoever else he’s transformed into next week.
