The remaining contestants that will be competing in the upcoming Traditional Money in the Bank Ladder Match on June 29 have been revealed. During the June 23 edition of “Monday Night Raw,” Triple H announced that joining Seth Rollins in the match will be Dean Ambrose, Kofi Kingston, Jack Swagger, Dolph Ziggler, Rob Van Dam, and Bad News Barrett will vie for a Money in the Bank briefcase, which guarantees the victor a WWE World Heavyweight Championship match anytime within one year of June 29.
Rollins was the man that announced that there would be a Traditional Money in the Bank Ladder Match at the “Money In The Bank” PPV in Boston on June 29. He then announced that he would be one of the contestants in the match. Rollins, who recently turned his back on The Shield, used his connection to Triple H and Stephanie McMahon to be the first entrant in the match.
Ambrose has been at odds with Rollins since “The Architect” turned on The Shield during the June 2 edition of “Monday Night Raw.” While Ambrose was in a Money in the Bank Ladder Match in 2013, he was unsuccessful at securing the briefcase. However, Ambrose is a former United States Champion and a favorite to win on June 29.
Kingston is a former United States, Tag, and Intercontinental Champion. Swagger is also a former United States and World Heavyweight Champion, as well as a Money in the Bank winner. Ziggler, who has also grabbed the United States and World Heavyweight Championship, is also a former Money in the Bank winner.
Van Dam is a former Money in the Bank victor also, as well as Intercontinental, ECW, and WWE Champion. Barrett, who is the current Intercontinental Champion, is believed by many to be the favorite to win the Traditional Money in the Bank Ladder Match on June 29.
