In a recent tweet posted to his official Twitter account, former TNA World Heavyweight Champion Bully Ray compares the lack of communication between TNA officials and talent to a “lost war.” As previously reported, the former “Bubba Ray Dudley” is no longer under contract to TNA Wrestling, although further reports claimed that he may re-sign with the company should they land a new television deal.
On the heels of TNA claiming that they have a surprising announcement upcoming, Bully Ray tweeted the following on Nov. 12,
When Generals do not properly communicate with their soldiers, consider the war lost and the soldiers dead.

Reports have waffled on whether or not TNA will stay with SpikeTV. Some say that the company will no longer produce “IMPACT WRESTLING” on the network past 2014, while others say that TNA may have no other option but to stay on SpikeTV for far less money.
Regardless, superstars that have been TNA mainstays for years have seemingly abandoned ship in hopes of avoiding the depths of the sea that may eventually claim the sinking vessel. In 2014, the company began encouraging their superstars to take independent bookings on top of TNA television tapings to make up for their cuts in salary. However, if no new TV deal is penned soon for TNA, the company may no longer be able to pay any of their talent anything.
The company has ceased TV tapings for the remainder of the year, and SpikeTV will show “Best of IMPACT WRESTLING” editions of TNA’s flagship program until the calendar year turns. Bully Ray, who has most recently been reunited with tag team partner Devon, has teased moving on to New Japan wrestling and feuding with the international faction, The Bullet Club.
WWE and the Dudley Boyz have apparently both publicly stated that they would love to do business again, which could be a big way for one of the most successful tag teams in professional wrestling history to close the door on their careers, as they would be able to again be known as the characters which kickstarted their 20+ year run in the industry, Bubba Ray and Devon Dudley. WWE owns the rights to their names due to the 2001 acquisition of ECW and all of the licenses held by the company.
While it’s most likely that Bully Ray was taking a shot at TNA’s higher-ups, such as Dixie Carter, he could have also been discussing the online Twitter dispute that began on Nov. 12 between former boss Paul Heyman and fellow ECW alumni Joey Styles and Tommy Dreamer. As previously reported, Dreamer took a shot at Heyman though a Twitter post of Styles’, and the dialogue between the three dealt with old ECW beef, in regards to Heyman owing a lot of talent money that he promised.
Perhaps Bully Ray was chiming into this old ECW discussion, but the smart money says “Calf-zilla” was actually making a public statement on the lack of communication between the office and the locker room in TNA.

Interesting to say the least. I wonder which one Bully Ray is REALLY commenting on.
