The latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter claims that Batista is scheduled to appear on the June 2 edition of “Monday Night Raw.” This report in contrary to the same journalist’s claims from earlier in the week that stated the May 26 edition of “RAW” was to be Batista’s last for some time.
The new report states that Batista is being advertised for “Monday Night Raw” on June 3, which is a typo on Dave Meltzer’s part. “RAW” will take place from the Bankers Life Fieldhouse arena in Indianapolis on June 2, not 3. Evolution, which Batista is obviously a part of, is one of the few things advertised on the official website for the venue.
The advertisement is as follows:
JOHN CENA VS. BRAY WYATT
Plus See: Evolution, Demon Kane, The Shield, And Many More!!!
*Card is subject to change*
Earlier reports claimed that the “go-home” edition of “Monday Night Raw” on May 26 was to be Batista’s last Monday night engagement for the company, but plans, just like all wrestling cards, are always subject to change. WWE officials wanted Batista to put Roman Reigns over in a singles match before he leaves to promote the film “Guardians of the Galaxy” for the next few months, but that match has not been confirmed for June 2.
Editor’s Note:
I’m dumbfounded that they LITERALLY advertise Kane as “Demon Kane” now. *SMH* As far as Batista goes, bye-bye. See ya in a few months, probably at “Night of Champions,” if not “SummerSlam.”
