A new report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has provided some backstage information on why Cesaro does not have an entrance theme at the moment. Cesaro, who on the April 7 edition of “Monday Night Raw” officially split from the Real Americans to become the next “Paul Heyman Guy,” has not used any sort of entrance music since that night.
According to the report, the silent entrance for Cesaro is said to be what WWE Officials want at this time because it makes he and Heyman stand out right now. All though it is being done on purpose, this is only a short-term plan for WWE’s resident “King of Swing.”
Jim Johnston is reportedly creating new music for Cesaro, but the company feels like his lack of an entrance theme currently creates a great “talking point” for the superstar. The report claims that part of this theory of “no music” for Cesaro also helps sell the fact that the split from Zeb Colter and Jack Swagger was “sudden.” So sudden in fact that the company did not have new music ready for the Swiss Superman.
Rumors claim that Cesaro may be the next Intercontinental Champion, as he is reportedly set to face Big E for the title at “Extreme Rules.” If Cesaro does win the tournament and go on to compete for the IC strap on May 4, many believe he will be victorious due to previous reports claiming the company wants to push him hard as soon as possible.
Editor’s Note: I pray the new theme for Cesaro is good. Music sets the tone for each superstar that walks through that curtain, and if the theme is bad, the star’s initial reaction will be bad. Don’t believe me? Go back and watch Cesaro’s entrances before joining the Real Americans. They had the guy in a stupid hat, yodeling, and coming out to an AWFUL entrance theme. Every time I would hear the first note, I instantly dreaded the character about to come out, even though I knew how great of an in-ring worker Cesaro is. I didn’t want to see him, because I tied his character to that music. It was awful. Jim Johnston, you’re a Hall of Fame talent…PLEASE give us a good theme for Cesaro’s push. PLEASE.
