Two teams from “Smackdown Live” will get that opportunity this Sunday.
Earlier today, WWE.com announced that the kickoff match to the “Battleground” pay-per-view will feature The Usos taking on Breezango in a tag-team match.
Below is some information from the press release regarding the match:
The pre-show duel pits two teams from SmackDown Live against each other. With all Superstars on the blue brand no doubt looking to impress Commissioner Shane McMahon and General Manager Daniel Bryan, there’s no telling how far The Usos and Breezango will go to turn heads, leading into the first post-Brand Extension pay-per-view of WWE’s New Era.
Can The Usos’ unparalleled teamwork result in victory, or will the egotistical alliance of Breeze & Fandango prove too confident to overcome?
The Usos were drafted to “Smackdown Live” in the 7th round, with the 32nd overall pick, while Breezango was selected in the 10th round, with the 49th overall pick.

Editor’s Note:
I still feel that “Smackdown Live” took the sleeper pick of the draft in acquiring Breezango. Not only are both Tyler Breeze and Fandango very good at what they do, but they also have great chemistry as a tag team, and work very well together. I anticipate that they will have a great career on “Smackdown Live,” both as a tag team as well as singles competitors.
