Originally, No Way Jose was meant to be brought to SmackDown late in the WWE Draft, but WWE made the decision to bring up Mojo Rawley instead.

There is some speculation why WWE chose Rawley over several others who may or may not deserve the main roster spot more than him. However, WWE does have some plans in place for Rawley on SmackDown.

Simply put, “Staying Hype” is a solid gimmick that is high energy, which could translate well onto the main roster, or it could fail very quickly. It really depends on the natural reaction the WWE Universe has to him.

Since WWE went back and forth on the decision to bring up Mojo or No Way Jose, WWE officials are trying to fill a very specific role with Mojo’s main roster call-up. If the fans don’t respond to him, there are other options.

According to RingSideNews.com, Mojo Rawley is on the SmackDown brand while his former tag team partner Zack Ryder is as well. Of course, Ryder could win the US title this weekend.

If he doesn’t, WWE could be interested in bring back NXT’s Hype Bros to the main roster to continue to build the tag team division of SmackDown and bring another face team to feud with American Alpha.

Do you think Mojo Rawlet will be successful on the main roster?
