Wrestling Rumors 2017 Year End Awards!

It’s that time of year where we take a look back and reflect on the past 12 months in the world of professional wrestling. 2017 had some incredible moments, segments and matches; and we want to relive it all right here!

It is time to begin to present the 2017 Wrestling Rumors Year End Awards!!

Throughout the month of December, we will be posting questions on our Facebook and Twitter pages, and we want YOU, the fans, to vote on who you think should take home the awards in the various categories that we present!

The categories will include:

• Promo of the Year
• PPV of the Year
• OMG Moment of the Year
• Moment of the Year
• Return of the Year
• Debut of the Year
• Callup of the Year
• Commentator of the Year
• Crowd Chant of the Year
• Universal Chatter Moment of the Year
• List of Dericho Moment of the Year
• Finisher of the Year
• Biggest Pop of the Year
• Champion of the Year
• Funny Moment of the Year
• Match of the Year
• Takeover Moment of the Year
• Catchphrase of the Year
• Face of the Year
• Heel of the Year
• Cruiserweight of the Year
• Tag Team of the Year
• Breakout Superstar of the Year (Most Improved)
• Non-WWE Female Superstar of the Year
• Non-WWE Male Superstar of the Year
• NXT Female Superstar of the Year
• NXT Male Superstar of the Year
• Female Superstar of the Year
• Male Superstar of the Year

Most of these awards will be for anything relating to WWE, but if you feel strongly to nominate someone or something from another promotion, feel free to do so.

There will be no ‘nominees’ – we want to hear as many suggestions as possible. To vote, you can either submit a name, like a previous suggestion on Facebook, or like or retweet an idea on Twitter. Use the hashtag #WRAwards to vote!

The winners will be announced throughout the month, as well as on a special episode of “Universal Chatter” during the final week of 2017!

This should be a lot of fun, and we look forward to recapping the year that was!
