SPOILERS: WWE Smackdown TV Taping Results For 12/20/24

The following are spoilers for the December 20, 2024 episode of Smackdown, which was taped at the XL Center in Hartford, Connecticut following this past week’s episode:

Kevin Owens vs. Cody Rhodes: Owens will continue his feud with Cody Rhodes, which remains unresolved after their match at tonight’s Premium Live Event (PLE). Owens is set to cut another promo from his car, a recent signature move, leading to another confrontation with Rhodes.
6-Man Tag Team Match: The New Bloodline will face LA Knight, Andrade, and Apollo Crews in a six-man tag match. This follows a previous encounter where Knight defeated Solo Sikoa by disqualification due to Jacob Fatu’s interference. Although the New Bloodline will secure a victory next week, Sikoa’s singles record continues to suffer.
OG Bloodline vs. Drew McIntyre: The OG Bloodline is scheduled to confront Drew McIntyre again, following his surprise attack on an injured Jimmy Uso.
Women’s Tag Team Championship: Bianca Belair and Naomi will defend their titles against Candice LeRae and Nia Jax. The champions are expected to retain their belts.
Johnny Gargano vs. Alex Shelley: In a singles match, Johnny Gargano will defeat Alex Shelley. Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa, known as DIY and recently crowned Tag Team Champions, will celebrate their title win with a new theme song.
Braun Strowman’s Return: Braun Strowman, who returned on SmackDown, will appear on the Grayson Waller Effect dressed as a monstrous Santa Claus. After an interruption by Carmelo Hayes, Strowman and Hayes will compete again, with Hayes winning this time.
