It has been
previously reported that the official rebranding of TNA to Global Force Wrestling will occur this Sunday at “Slammiversary.” Two unification title bouts will be occurring at the event, as a part of the process of the next generation of the company.

But what will be happening with both the TNA and GFW championship belts?
According to a report from PWInsider, new title belts have been ordered by the parent company, Anthem Entertainment, and may be debuted as early as tonight.
In the two unification matches, Impact Wrestling Knockouts Champion, Rosemary, will clash with GFW Women’s Champion, Sienna. And in the main event of the evening, Impact Champion, Lashley will take on GFW Champion, Alberto El Patron.
Editor’s Note:
Honestly, this is a good thing for the company to do. Anything that GFW can do to distance themselves from the way things were run in the past is a good thing, and having new title belts can be another way to signify the beginning of a new era in the company. I hope that the new titles look awesome!
