This is only a rumor, so take it for what it’s worth. According to a report from PWInsider, Dolph Ziggler will be finishing up with WWE in the near future, if he has not done so already.
The report states that the Show-Off turned down an offer to become a producer backstage. Furthermore, he has removed the ‘Dolph Ziggler’ name from his social media accounts and is about to embark a comedy tour in the near future. He has not been on the road with WWE in recent weeks.
Ziggler’s last appearance on WWE programming in a steel cage match with Drew McIntyre on the final Raw of 2018. He was beat down during that match, which could have been a way to write him off of television.
You can see a clip of that match below:
This is not the first time that Ziggler has been rumored to leave WWE.
We will continue to monitor this story and provide updates as they become available to us.
Editor’s Opinion:
This is quite unfortunate. He has been one of the top performers in the company for a long time and the fans clearly get behind him. I hope that he can find success somewhere else as he has a lot to offer the wrestling world. Maybe in AEW?
