According to the official website for the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio, the main event for WWE’s “Fastlane” pay-per-view has been revealed. The site is saying that AJ Styles will be defending the WWE Championship in a Fatal 5-Way match against Randy Orton, Shinsuke Nakamura, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn.
You can see a clip of these superstars competing on last week’s “Smackdown Live” below:
Also scheduled to appear are Charlotte, Bobby Roode, Baron Corbin, Jinder Mahal, The New Day, The Usos and Dolph Ziggler.
“Fastlane” is WWE’s final pay-per-view before WrestleMania, and will take place on Sunday, March 11, 2018. It should be noted that the site says that the card is subject to change.
Last year’s “Raw” branded “Fastlane” event featured Goldberg winning the Universal Championship against Kevin Owens in 22 seconds. You can see a clip of the match below:
Editor’s Opinion:
If this is true, then I am all in on this match. It would be a great way to establish some final rivalries leading into WrestleMania, and could wet the appetites of the fans who are expecting some outstanding matches at the “granddaddy of them all!”
