Former WWE Champion Returns This Coming Monday

He’s back! Tonight on Smackdown, the company advertised that a former WWE Champion will be making his return this coming Monday on Raw.

Sheamus has been out of action since September 2023, when he suffered a shoulder injury. At that time, he was a member of the Brawling Brutes along with Ridge Holland and Butch; the group has since disbanded. It is unknown what Sheamus will be doing upon his return to WWE.

The Celtic Warrior has won 12 championships in the company, including 3 WWE Championships and 1 World Heavyweight Championship.

This is terrific news! I have always been a huge fan of Sheamus; he has a unique look, is fantastic on the microphone, great in the ring, and is as versatile of a performer as I have seen. I would have to think that he is closer to the end of his career than the beginning, so any time that we get to see him in WWE is a great thing. It will be interesting to see who he will be working with once he returns, as his former stablemates are doing other things. No matter what he does, it will be fantastic, and I can’t wait to see it! Perhaps he will be a champion one more time? Time will tell.
