The rubber match between Brock Lesnar and The Undertaker will be happening sooner than we think.
It will be the final stage of the Brock Lesnar “Go To Hell” tour that will include a match against the Big Show in a Live Event that will air on the WWE Network on Oct. 3 from Madison Square Garden in New York City. He will then be appearing on the next episode of the “Stone Cold Podcast” on Oct. 19, which will air on the WWE Network following “Monday Night Raw.”
This match will be the third match between Lesnar and The Undertaker in a span of 18 months. The first match occurred at WrestleMania 30 on Apr. 6, 2014, when Lesnar ended the 21-match undefeated streak of Undertaker at WrestleMania.
The second match occurred this year at “SummerSlam”, which ended in controversial fashion after Undertaker made Lesnar pass out, even though he tapped out himself earlier in the match. The timekeeper rang the bell, despite the referee not seeing it.
It had been previously reported that Undertaker passed out after his match with Lesnar at “SummerSlam,” so it will be interesting to see what kind of shape he will be in for their rubber match.
Editor’s Note:
I find it quite interesting that The Undertaker is being used so much in the 2015 calendar year. Perhaps this is his final tour before a retirement match at WrestleMania 32? Either way, I’m excited for this match. We know it will be a great battle between two legends.
