The mega-popular History Channel program Pawn Stars, which has been airing its new episodes on Monday Nights at 10/9 central for the last three years, is moving its new broadcasts to Thursday nights, in direct competition with TNA IMPACT.  Since its cable debut in 2009, Pawn Stars has consistently been a ratings hit for the History Channel.  Besides Monday Night Football, Pawn Stars as been the WWE’s direct competition on monday nights.  The show consistently brings in more viewers than RAW in the key 18-49 demographic.

TNA’s saving grace is that Pawn Stars will be airing two new episodes every Thursday at 9/8 central.  This combined with the recent news that TNA will be moving IMPACT’s start time back to 9/8 central, they will only be head to head with Pawn Stars for the first hour of the show.

Pawn Stars last new episodes aired on Monday March 11, 2013.  Both episodes went directly up against the third hour of RAW and each averaged over 5 million viewers.
