It looks like WWE’s Smackdown is starting to pick up the pace. Having been lesser viewed than Raw for some time, things are starting to look brighter for the Tuesday program. With AJ Styles and Randy Orton in the main event, it was sure to pick up. But by how much?
Smackdown this week pulled in 2.74 million viewers. Last week saw a total of 2.57 million viewers, which saw an increase of 170,000 viewers over the last week. This is already a strong increase, and a show of force from the brand. When compared to Monday Night Raw’s 3.22 million viewers this week, Smackdown was only outviewed by 17.5% this week.
This is a massive jump to the program, which has struggled to gain the same large-scale viewership of Raw recently. It looks like things are starting to stabilize and increase thanks to the increase of great talent and solid bookings for Smackdown.
