It was reported here at WrestlingRumors.net on Feb. 19 that acclaimed television personality Jon Stewart had cut a promo on WWE superstar Seth Rollins after Rollins dropped his name on “Monday Night Raw.”

TMZ.com broke the story and published Stewart’s video for Rollins. That video was later posted to WWE’s YouTube page, leading many to believe that Stewart may be involved in WWE programming in the future.

If that is indeed the case, an angle between the two could take place as early as next week.

Stewart will be filming episodes of “The Daily Show” on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in New York City. WWE will be holding a live event at Madison Square Garden on Feb. 27, although television tapings will be Tennessee and Georgia.

There should be time for WWE to fly Rollins back and forth should there be any interest in doing something on Stewart’s show.

Seth Rollins vs. Randy Orton at WrestleMania 31 with Stewart in Orton’s corner? Never say never.
