Update on AJ Lee’s Return to WWE Television

WWE Diva AJ Lee last competed at “WWE TLC: Tables, Ladders, Chairs and Stairs” against Nikki Bella, failing to recapture her Divas Championship.

She was written off of programming after Nikki sprayed a substance in her face, although the real reason was so that she could nurse a legitimate neck injury she suffered prior to “SummerSlam.”

According to PWInsider.com, WWE has a creative storyline in place for her eventual return to television.

The report didn’t indicate when her return would be, though.

There were several rumors following her bout with Nikki that she may be done with WWE entirely, but that doesn’t appear to be the case at all.

With all WrestleMania 31 plans seemingly in place, one would assume that she would come back following the pay-per-view, barring her being involved in a multi-Diva match on the card.

AJ Lee competing regularly is best for the Divas division. Nikki Bella is being built up as a strong champion in her absence, making a potential rematch between the two all the more stronger.
